Man convicted in Lake County crime spree sentenced to life in prison

CONCORD TWP., Ohio -- Juan Razo, convicted of charges including rape, attempted rape and murder in a crime spree in Concord Township last year, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole Wednesday.

Razo previously pleaded guilty to the charges including of aggravated murder, attempted rape, attempted burglary, kidnapping, aggravated robbery and attempted murder in March.

Razo is accused of killing 60-year-old Peggy Kostelnik in July 2015, shooting a woman in the arm on the Greenway Corridor and attempting to rape a 14-year-old girl on July 27.
