CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Indians said Monday that pitcher Carlos Carrasco will be out 4-6 weeks with a hamstring strain.

Carrasco left Sunday’s game against the Tigers after hurting his hamstring on an awkward play while covering first base.

He tweeted Monday afternoon: “Thank you to everyone for the well wishes! I don’t like being hurt but I will work hard to come back soon and help my teammates!”

The Indians said Michael Brantley has been activated.
