CLEVELAND – Cleveland police officers and councilman Zack Reed teamed up on Saturday to donate some baseball equipment for some local Little League teams.

Players and coaches from the B-Buzz Little League teams got bats, ball, mitts and batting helmets.

All equipment was donated by the Police Athletic League and the Cleveland Police Foundation.

Reed said he enjoyed Little League as a child, so he wanted to be able to give back to the kids.

B-Buzz got their name from a beekeeper in the community back in the 1950s.
