LOS ANGELES – Johnny Manziel and his friend may have had some issues over the weekend, but Josh Gordon might have come to their rescue.

According to TMZ, Manziel and his friend Ryan Silverstein were involved in a hit-and-run in Los Angeles Saturday night.

Silverstein was allegedly driving when he hit a pole, police sources say he and Manziel fled the scene on foot and Gordon picked them up.

They returned to the scene shortly after, and that’s when Manziel allegedly admitted to police that he was riding in the car. Silverstein could be the one facing charges since he was identified by witnesses as the one driving.

This all happened the same night Manziel told TMZ that he was living with Super Bowl MVP Von Miller.

Manziel was released by the Browns last month.
