CLEVELAND – It might be a bit clearer now as to why the NFL hasn’t reinstated Josh Gordon yet. According to numerous reports, wide receiver Gordon failed an NFL drug test last month.

Gordon missed the entire 2015 season after being suspended for a positive alcohol test. He applied for reinstatement in February but no word on that has been released from the NFL yet.

Last month’s test is said to have tested positive for marijuana and also for being diluted.

Sources say that the positive test doesn’t necessarily mean Gordon will miss another season, but does not bode well for his case for reinstatement.

Fox 8 has reached to the Cleveland Browns who told Fox 8’s John Telich that they have no comment on this story. Josh Gordon’s agent has not yet responded to our request.
