Cavaliers Shumpert, Williams out with knee injuries

CLEVELAND– Cleveland Cavaliers Iman Shumpert and Mo Williams will be out for Monday night’s game against Atlanta.

Williams was experiencing soreness in his left knee after Wednesday’s game in Indianapolis. The team said he was evaluated in Cleveland and will go to Florida for additional treatment.

Shumpert, who sat out on Saturday, will also miss the game Wednesday against Detroit.

According to the Cavs, The guard is suffered from soreness and swelling in his left knee. Doctors drained his knee, but he’s expected to be ready for playoff practice later this week.
