FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio  - April is Autism Awareness month and plenty of Northeast Ohio families gathered on Sunday to raise money for the cause.

The annual event, Strike it Big for Milestones, was hosted at two bowling alleys on Sunday.

Fairview Lanes in Fairview Park and Freeway Lanes in Solon.

The event allowed all families to enjoy bowling at their own pace.

There was also plenty of food, balloons and a chance to spend time with other families.

The event was put on by the Davis Automotive Group and all proceeds will benefit local families who have children with autism.
