SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY  – The Suffolk County NY SPCA is offering a reward for anyone who can help find the person who taped a dog’s muzzle shut, and then abandoned him on a roadside.

The agency got a call that the male German Shepherd was found on the Montauk Highway Saturday, April 9th. The dog couldn’t eat or drink with his mouth taped shut and was, according to the chief of the SPCA, “..abandoned and frightened on a busy road.” He called the situation “heartbreaking.”

A reward of $2,000 is being offered for anyone who can help find the people who did this. Click here for SPCA’s Facebook page.
