Kids were joining the fight against cancer, one dance move at a time.

An annual dance-a-thon was held Sunday to raise money for pediatric cancer research.

Dozens of people gathered at the gym inside Our Lady of Mount Carmel for the 'Gianna-thon.'

Five-year-old Gianna Andolina of Cleveland was diagnosed with leukemia in 2014 and is currently in remission.

Her family organized today's event to raise money for childhood cancer research.

The goal was $10,000 and organizers say they went well past that.
