VERNAL, Utah – Four men were arrested in Utah on Sunday after a 9-year-old reported that she was raped.

According to KSTU, the alleged assault happened Easter morning at a home in Utah.

Officials say the girl was with her mother at the home while the mother spent time with a friend. The girl was left sleeping on the couch while the mother went to get high on methamphetamine in the garage.

When the mom returned, the girl was on the same couch but her clothing was messed up and she appeared upset.

Officials say that the girl told her mother what happened the next day. The girl was able to identify one of the suspects from a photograph provided by police.

One suspect, 36-year-old Larson James RonDeau, told police he had traveled to Utah to visit a friend.

A police report states the four men took the girl into a bedroom and took turns assaulting her.

All four men have been charged with one count of rape and one count of sodomy of a child.

The girl is currently in state custody, not with her mother.
