CANTON, Ohio -- A Stark County woman accused of soliciting donations while pretending to be the grandmother of a murder victim pleaded not guilty in court Friday morning. Her bond was set at $100,000.

About one week ago, Lisa Dalesandro, 51, was caught on video soliciting money in Alliance to pay for the funeral of Hailey Miku, 3. Miku was beaten to death in her Canton home earlier this month. Her father and his girlfriend are facing charges in the case.

Dealesandro, who is allegedly the partner of Miku's grandfather, John McCallister, was arrested by Alliance police.

This week, Dealesandro was reportedly back in Canton, this time with McCallister, soliciting funds.

It was one of Miku's cousins who notified police. Both were arrested on theft charges.

McCallister also appeared in court on Friday morning. He pleaded not guilty and was issued $100,000 bond.
