Hugh Jackman helps son, other swimmers from rip current

SYDNEY, Australia– Actor Hugh Jackman helped pull children from dangerous surf at an Australian beach.

Video shows the “Wolverine” aiding a man with a girl who was struggling in the surf on Bondi Beach in Sydney. Then, Jackman reaches for his 15-year-old son, Oscar.

A representative for Jackman told ABC News the father and son are fine, and the rescue “looks more dramatic than it was.”

Lifeguards used boards and jetskis to get to other swimmers, according to 9 News in Australia.
