Today might not be Leah Still‘s birthday, but her dad was celebrating like it was.

Friday marked exactly one year since doctors told Leah, 5, that she was cancer-free.

Leah battled cancer the past year and even received the the Jimmy V. Perseverance Award at the ESPY Awards because of the strength she showed throughout her fight.  Leah couldn’t attend the ceremony because of her health over the summer.

There’s not enough hours in a day, days in a month, or months in a year to tell you how much I love you and how proud of you I am,” Devon Still said in his Instagram post.
