CLEVELAND– A Virginia man was arrested at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport last week after authorities say he flew here to have sex with a 14-year-old girl.

David Lee Boesen, 33, of Hampton, Virginia, is charged with enticement of a minor and traveling with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Boesen sent dozens of sexually explicit messages via text and Facebook to what he believed was a 14-year-old. He also sent pornography and gifts, including candy, cash and underwear.

He even said to the undercover agent his mother was worried about him traveling to Ohio to meet her because he had previously been in trouble with an underage girl. According to investigators, Boesen said he was not scared and they would be together forever.

The case was investigated by the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
