Two suspects, 11 and 16, arrested for aggravated robbery in Akron

AKRON- Akron police have arrested and charged two male suspects, 16 and 11, for aggravated robbery.

The incident happened Sunday around 9:00 p.m. near the intersection of Wall Street and Alfaretta Avenue.

Akron police said in a release, a 21-year-old man reported he was robbed at gunpoint of his debit card while walking in the area.

The victim followed the suspects until police arrived.

The teen and the young boy were arrested. A third male suspect has not yet been identified. Police also recovered a .25 caliber stolen handgun used in the robbery.

Both suspects are currently in the custody of the Summit County Detention Center.
