CLEVELAND, Ohio — The third suspect in the murder of 5-month-old Aavielle Wakefield was issued $1 million bond Saturday.

Charles Caldwell, 30, faces charges of aggravated murder. An arrest warrant was issued for Caldwell last month.

Wakefield was shot in the chest while in a car with her mother at East 145th Street and Spear Avenue on Oct. 1. Investigators said they believe the wrong car was targeted by gunfire.

In November, authorities arrested 19-year-old Davon Holmes for aggravated murder in the baby’s death. Lawrence Hillard is charged with tampering with evidence in the case.
