CLEVELAND – Plenty of locals braved the cold on Saturday at Edgewater Park, and it was all for a good cause.

This year was the 7th annual Cleveland Arctic Plunge. This year’s plunge benefit Team Fox for Parkinson’s Disease Research, American Heart Association Cleveland Heart Walk and Westshore Critical Response Service.

“Compared to last year, it was like being in Maui,” said co-founder Michael Maslar. “It was a smashing success. We raised money and awareness and promoted our great Emerald necklace, Edgewater Park.”

Thankfully, temps were in the high 30s most of the day Saturday.
