MIDVALE, Tuscarawas County- Investigators with the Tuscarawas County Sheriff's Department were back at the mobile home Friday where a woman was murdered.
Authorities spent Friday morning removing more bags of evidence from the home where Darlene Renner lived.
According to authorities, Renner's boyfriend's 17-year-old son called 911 from the Midvale Estates in Midvale just after 4 a.m. yesterday. He lives in the mobile home with his father and the victim.
The teen told deputies he woke up to screaming in his dad's room where Renner had been sleeping.
The 17-year-old boy then grabbed a loaded shotgun and tried to go inside the room, but the bed was blocking the door.
The teen told authorities once he was able to get inside the room, he saw an African-American man in dark clothing with a beard on top of the victim. The suspect then jumped off of Darlene and chased the boy down the hall.
After an altercation, the teen said he dropped the gun and took off in his dad's car. Authorities said Renner suffered multiple stab wounds. Her boyfriend, the boy's father, was working at the time of her murder.
The teen is currently being held at a juvenile detention facility on a separate charge. He is not considered a suspect in this crime.
The Stark County Sheriff's Department continues to search for the suspect.
