Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden undergoes ankle surgery

CLEVELAND – Cornerback Joe Haden underwent ankle surgery Wednesday to repair an injury he suffered during the 2015 season with the Cleveland Browns.

According to a release from the Browns, Haden is expected to fully recover by the start of 2016 training camp.

Haden injured his left ankle during the week 8 game against the Arizona Cardinals. He only played 5 games last season due to the ankle injury, several concussions, a rib injury and a finger injury.

This upcoming season will be his 7th. He has started 68 of 77 games and has 16 interceptions in his career with the Browns.
