CLEVELAND - Every year at Daylight Saving Time, homeowners are urged to check their home smoke alarms.

This year, the North Eastern Fire Prevention Association is reminding everyone that the new photoelectric smoke alarms will warn you and your family up to 10 minutes earlier than the older models.
