CLEVELAND – A grieving family is trying to find the person responsible for a hit-and-run that killed their loved one.

Carlos Long died last month, about a week after he was struck by a car on Cleveland’s east side .

“He had numerous injuries, and was just left there, they never stopped to check on him,” said Carline Rice, Long’s sister.

Long was struck by the car in the area of Euclid and East 71st on February 19.

Police say they have little clues other than the suspect vehicle was a Maroon car.

“Someone has to know something,” said Maxine Templeton, Long’s sister.

Anyone who has any information is asked to call Cleveland police as soon as possible.
