Ohio troopers find 45 pounds of pot in suitcases

ZANESVILLE, Ohio– The Ohio State Highway Patrol seized 45 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop last week.

Troopers pulled over a car on Interstate 70 in Muskingum County Friday morning. The highway patrol said a drug-sniffing dog alerted troopers so they searched the Audi.

The drugs, valued at $281,486, were inside suitcases.

Clifton A. Futch, 29, of Maryland, was taken to the Muskingum County Jail and charged with drug trafficking. He faces 10 years in prison, if convicted.
