AKRON – Akron police have issued a warrant for Joseph Lee Potter’s arrest.

Potter was supposed to be in court Friday on aggravated robbery charges and failed to show up.

Potter was caught on video at the Acme on East Avenue on Jan. 15 putting nearly 40 dollars worth of shrimp down his pants.

Akron police said he fought with loss prevention officers, who tried to keep him in the store.

The loss prevention officers told police he showed them a gun while he fled and told them he had gun charges and “that they better back up.”

If anyone sees Potter, contact Akron police immediately.
