Strangers save Columbus man’s life after his car fills with carbon monoxide

COLUMBUS – Two women are being called heroes after saving the life of a Columbus man earlier this week.

According to NBC 4, the man’s car was off the road in a ditch and quickly filling with carbon monoxide.

One woman spotted his tail lights and flagged down more help. Another woman stopped a few minutes later.

The two women saw the driver was slumped over and one grabbed her son’s baseball bat to smash the window while the other woman called 911.

The victim was taken to OSU’s Wexner Medical Center and was released a few days later.
