Four teens injured, one critically in crash in Lorain County

WELLINGTON, Ohio – The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a crash involving one car on Saturday night in Wellington.

The car had run off the road and smashed into a tree due to slippery road conditions.

According to OSHP, the car was traveling too fast for the road conditions.

There were 5 juveniles in the car at the time and the driver was not injured.

Three of the teens were taken to Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain for their injuries.

A fourth passenger, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center with more severe injuries.
