Two arrested in Jackson Township with marijuana, pills and nearly $8k in cash

JACKSON TOWNSHIP  – Two people were arrested Friday at the America’s Best motel in Jackson Township for drug possession.

According to a police report, Tommia D. Williams, 20, and Gerald D. Bowerman Jr., 34, were found inside a hotel room with nearly a quarter pound of marijuana, THC paste, prescription pills and nearly $8,000 in cash.

They were both arrested for drug trafficking, marijuana possession and two counts each of aggravated drug possession and possession of controlled substances.

They were both taken to the Stark County Jail where they are being held.
