Black History Month: Cleveland school recognizes those who were first in their fields

CLEVELAND-- As our nation begins the celebration of Black History Month, we often hear the names Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. or Rosa Parks.

But, students at HBCU Prep-- a school on Cleveland's east side-- are learning about other people who were first in their fields.

Black history is not only taught during February, but every single month of the year.
