Man caught on video stealing shrimp from Akron grocery store

AKRON, Ohio– Police are asking for help identifying a man who stole shrimp from an Akron grocery store.

The suspect was caught on video at the Acme on East Avenue on Jan. 15 putting the shrimp down his pants. Akron police said he fought with loss prevention officers, who tried to keep him in the store, and showed them a gun while he fled.

The same Acme store had another run-in with a shoplifter on Wednesday. According to the police report, Avery Gough, 22, who was already banned from the store, stole a roast top steak by shoving it down his pants.
