Browns’ Barnidge added to Pro Bowl roster

BEREA, OH – Cleveland Browns tight end Gary Barnidge is going to the Pro Bowl as a starter.

Barnidge was added to the Pro Bowl roster on Monday. He’ll be replacing Rob Gronkowski, who is injured.He  joins teammates Joe Thomas and Alex Mack. Barnidge was originally an alternate. 

“I am very appreciative of this honor,” Barnidge said. “It is a privilege to be able to represent the Browns and our great fans at the Pro Bowl. One of the best things about this is that I get to share this experience with Joe and Alex.”

Players will be assigned to teams through the Pro Bowl Draft, which will be held January 27th. The 2016 Pro Bowl will be played on Sunday, January 31 at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii.
