NEW YORK – CNN viewers got a nice surprise during coverage for the blizzard that hammered the east coast this weekend.

Steven and his daughter Mia Tyler hopped in during Poppy Harlow’s live broadcast and talked about the intense weather taking over the city and shutting down traffic.

“I’m gonna hunker down,” he told Poppy. “I’ve got a funny feeling the storm’s gonna keep us here a couple extra days.”

Steven even said hello to his grandson, Milo, while on air.

He left New Yorkers with some solid advice, just “stay home.”
