CANAL FULTON, Ohio-- The city of Canal Fulton is going to great lengths to find a time capsule before a school is demolished.

The capsule was buried sometime in the 1980s at the old elementary school on Market Street, but the exact location is a mystery. The building is set to be torn down at the end of the month, so officials have turned to Facebook and metal detectors for specifics.

One Canal Fulton officer even tried his hand at being a sketch artist to track down clues. On Thursday, the police department posted a drawing by Ptl. John Barabasch of a janitor he remembered from his time at the school.

Police said they located George the janitor, who had no information about the time capsule.
