Cleveland Browns interview Doug Marrone for head coaching job

BEREA, Ohio– The Cleveland Browns said Thursday that they have interviewed Doug Marrone for the head coach position.

Marrone is currently the assistant head coach/offensive line coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Browns interviewed Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase and Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Teryl Austin on Wednesday afternoon.

The Browns fired head coach Mike Pettine on Sunday after two seasons. Cleveland finished with a 3-13 record.
