Governor Bobby Jindal, 44, is the 55th and current governor of Louisiana. He dropped out of the race on Nov. 18.
According to Jindal’s website, he was born and raised in Baton Rouge and went to Brown University where he graduated with Biology and Public Policy degrees, part of his Pre-Med program. He then went on to earn a Masters Degree in literature with a concentration in healthcare policy.
Jindal worked for the Bush Administration from 2001-2003 as Assistant Secretary for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. In 2003, he returned home to run for governor.
Gov. Jindal is married to Supriya; they have three children.
