CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Johnny Manziel has officially been ruled out as quarterback for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Austin Davis will start.

Manziel was placed in concussion protocol Wednesday after complaining of concussion-like symptoms.

Manziel took several hard hits while rushing for 108 yards in Sunday’s 17-13 loss to Kansas City. The Browns may sign another quarterback and former Oakland quarterback Terrelle Pryor, who converted to wide receiver this season, took snaps during practice.

While talking to the media Thursday, Coach Mike Pettine reflected on this past season and what he felt was positive about it.
