Cuyahoga Falls man busted for psychedelic mushroom grow

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio– A man is facing charges after authorities found psychedelic mushrooms at his Cuyahoga Falls home.

The Summit County Drug Unit executed a search warrant on Tuesday at a house on Stone Street, where they discovered a mushroom grow.

According to the sheriff’s office, detectives recovered a pound of psilocybin mushrooms, three loaded handguns and a loaded shotgun. Psilocybin mushrooms, more commonly known as psychedelic mushrooms, are a schedule I controlled substance.

Jack Kennedy, 29, was arrested, and charged with trafficking drugs and possession of drugs. He was taken to the Summit County Jail and more charges are pending.
