Attention shoppers: Microsoft chops Xbox game prices for the holidays

REDMOND, WA – Microsoft has a last-minute gift for last-minute holiday shoppers: the company is cutting the price of its games for the Xbox One and Xbox 360.

CNET is reporting that the sale will run from December 22nd until January 7th and will also include apps, TV shows and movies.  There will be daily and weekly deals, all available worldwide via the Xbox Store.

The Countdown sale, as it’s called, will feature popular titles like Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza Motorsport 6, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Fallout 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops III.


Microsoft advises consumers to visit the Countdown page or the MajorNelson page starting December 22 to check out the latest details on the sale.
