TORONTO– Police in Toronto are investigating a bizarre crime. They want to know why a woman allegedly stabbed a complete stranger at a drug store.

Authorities just arrested Rohinie Bisesar, 40, and charged her with attempted murder, aggravated assault and carrying a concealed weapon.

According to ABC News, the woman is a financial adviser with an MBA.  Police say a surveillance video image shows her dressed in a business suit leaving the store right after the stabbing. “She’s very well educated; she has no criminal record. It’s out of the blue,” Toronto police spokesman David Hopkinson told ABC News.

Bisesar is accused of stabbing the woman with a small kitchen knife in an “unprovoked” attack. Police say they do not believe the suspect and the victim knew each other.

A tip led to Bisesar’s arrest. The victim remains in the hospital in “grave condition.”
