Woman charged with obstruction of justice after Parma gas station murder appears in court

PARMA, Ohio -- A woman charged with assisting a man after he was accused of robbery and fatally shooting an owner at Sunoco gas station appeared in court Monday.

Parma police say the woman was arrested as a result of an ongoing investigation into the Nov. 28 robbery and fatal shooting of Sunoco gas station owner Robert Sposit .

Christine L. Saunders, 38, of Parma, was arrested last week for her role in assisting 21-year-old Logan Sinclair, according to police. Saunders' case was bound over to a grand jury in court on Monday. Her bond was also continued.

Sinclair was indicted by a Cuyahoga County Grand Jury for the fatal shooting of Sposit.  He was arrested and appeared in court on Dec. 2. He was given a $3 million bond.

Police said Saunders is charged with one count of obstructing justice.
