HIGHLAND, Calif.– A California photographer and artist spent more than 100 hours turning her parents’ home in Highland into a real-life gingerbread house.
Christine McConnell’s creation isn’t edible, but it is handmade. She even had her nieces pose as Hansel and Gretel for a photo.
“Usually my dad can’t wait to take them down after a holiday, and with these, he’s like, ‘I might keep these up for a while,'” McConnell said, according to ABC News. “That’s sort of the highest compliment I can get.”
You can see more photos of the house on McConnell’s Facebook page.
