RICHFIELD, Ohio-- A reward is being offered for information on the person who vandalized Richfield's Christmas tree

The 20-foot evergreen tree was planted in the Richfield Town Center years ago. Each year, it is decorated for the holidays, but this will be its last Christmas.

Police said it was intentionally damaged last week.

The village arborist said the tree will not survive and will be removed in February. It will cost $10,000 to replace it because of its size.

A $500 reward is available for information leading to a conviction in this case.
