Tri-C student robbed at gunpoint

CLEVELAND– A student at Cuyahoga Community College’s campus in Cleveland was robbed at gunpoint Monday night.

It happened just before 7 p.m. while the student was leaving the metropolitan campus, the college said. The suspect, who was armed with a .38 caliber handgun, fled on a purple mountain bike towards East 30th Street.

The suspect is described as being 40 to 50 years old, around 6’0″ tall with a salt and pepper goatee with a deep speaking voice. He was wearing a blue hoodie, blue jeans and black boots.
