The State Department issued a travel warning this week as the busy Thanksgiving holiday approached.

Travelers were warned against possible terrorist threats in certain regions of the world.

Fred Szabo, Interim Director of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, told Fox8 increased security would be posted in response to the federal warning.

Szabo also said additional airport staff would be on hand to help passengers unfamiliar with changes being made to Hopkins during a $20-million construction project.
