AKRON, Ohio– Nine flags to remember nine lives lost in a plane crash in Akron.

A woman named Denise Furey found the flags on her mother’s garage, which caught fire when the plane crashed into an apartment building last week. Furey placed the flags at the site of the crash to honor the seven passengers, pilot, and co-pilot who were killed in the crash. No one on the ground was injured.

A friend of Furey’s shared this photo with us.
