Police in Macedonia and Twinsburg are asking residents to be on the alert after some burglaries in the area.

Police say homes in Twinsburg were hit Friday, and areas in Macedonia were victimized Saturday.

Macedonia police say they believe the suspects may have burglarized the area before. Police say the suspected burglars usually strike on the weekends, mainly on Saturday, between the hours of 6 and 10 p.m.

Police say they usually hit homes inside a development that is close to a main road.

Police say it’s important for residents to call police if something looks or sounds out of place. They say to pay attention to the person or vehicle you are calling about so you can give police a good description.
