Fifth suspect arrested in shooting death of Cleveland 5-year-old

CLEVELAND– A fifth suspect has been arrested in the murder of 5-year-old Ramon Burnett.

Prosecutors said Marlon Hackett Jr., 19, was shooting at Dontavius Williams, 18, on Sept. 4 on Louise Harris Drive. That’s when Burnett, who was playing outside, was caught in the crossfire.

Days later, police arrested Hackett Jr. and Dontavius Williams. Then on Nov. 5, they arrested Demetric Croskey and Malik Norman, both 20.

All four men were charged with aggravated murder and their bonds were set at $1 million each.

Cleveland police said 19-year-old Richard Davonn Fields taken into custody on Monday on an aggravated murder charge in the case. He is being held at the city jail.
