Woman killed in Stark County crash

BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP, OH – A Tuscarawas woman lost her life in a one car crash on State Route 21 early Saturday morning.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that Danielle Johns, 30, was driving a 1998 Chevy Cavalier when the car left State Route 21 (Erie Avenue, SW) in Bethlehem Township at around 1:40 a.m. The car hit a tree, a fence and another tree before coming to a stop. Johns was pronounced dead at the scene.

She was not wearing a seatbelt and troopers do not know if alcohol was a factor in the crash yet.  They are continuing their investigation.
