CLEVELAND, Ohio — Browns head Coach Mike Pettine said on SiriusXM this morning that Johnny Manziel will start against an unbeaten Cincinnati on Thursday.

Shortly after that announcement, the Browns confirmed the decision on Twitter.

Josh McCown is still struggling with a painful rib injury sustained in Sunday’s loss to Arizona.

Manziel took the majority of snaps in practice with Cleveland’s starting offense last week when McCown was limited by a sore right shoulder and ribs.
