CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Strange Familiar is a pop rock band based out of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio that has achieved national recognition with their music. The band has toured all over the United States and over a dozen of their songs have been used in popular TV shows (Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries, Secret Life Of An American Teenager).

We asked The Strange Familiar to join us as part of our special Tri-C High School Rock Off coverage.  Kira Leyden and Jeff Andrea,  performed in the Tri-C Rock Off many times when they were high school students with their former band Jaded Era. Jaded Era took 3rd place in the competition in 2001.

The Strange Familiar is one of the most successful bands to have been a part of the Tri-C High School Rock Off. The band released their third CD 'The Day The Light Went Out'  last year.
