Suspects steal $500 in seafood from Solon grocery store

SOLON, Ohio– Police are asking for help identifying two people they say stole hundreds of dollars in seafood from a Solon grocery store.

It happened at about 7 p.m. on Oct. 23 at the Giant Eagle Market District on Aurora Road.

Solon police said a man and woman loaded a cart with several bags of frozen shrimp and packages of crab legs. The store manager told police he noticed the couple acting suspicious and notified store security, but the suspects were able to get away with the groceries.

The manager said the items were worth about $500, according to police.
