Jaide Bucher was born with one hand, but she doesn’t let it slow her down, whether it’s on or off the softball field.

“I’m there to win and I’m there to work hard,” Bucher said, according to Huffington Post.

Her parents found out she only had one hand before she was born. When she was young, she told them she wanted to play sports, they said they would do anything to make it happen.

“There was this one game where I got up to bat and the coach went, ‘Bring it in, ladies, scoot in, scoot in’ and I ripped a line drive right past them,” she said smiling.

Gatorade created the video with Bucher as a part of their Win From Within series. Gatorade surprised Bucher with meeting Jim Abbott, the former major league baseball pitcher also born with one hand.
